Well I'm apparently really bad at blogging. My posts are on average about a year or so apart but my feelings on becoming an avid blogger hasn't changed. I'm extremely scatter brained and most of the time I forget I even have this little blog. Maybe one day I'll get better at it. I don't even know if anyone reads these but if anyone does, a lot has changed since my last post.
On the school front, I finally GRADUATED! But not in radiology. I love the radiology field but there are no jobs for that around where I live. Instead I turned my sites toward medical coding. I finished school in July, got my CCA (certified coding associate) credential in September, and walked the stage in December. I think the hardest part is actually finding a job after graduation. But I found one. All throughout my medical coding classes I was told to just get my foot in the door. So that's what I did. I got a job at a hospital as a switchboard operator. Fancy word for person who answers the phone and takes payments. But I do get to fill in for the medical coders when they are out or on vacation.
So as far as living accommodations go, we're buying our own place now! And even more exciting is that we're talking about trying for another baby. Our little girl is 4 now so I believe it is beyond time to start trying for another. I've just been waiting on my other half the get on the same page. I've got a niece on the way too. My sister who has that adorable little red headed nephew of mine, well she's getting the chance to have her own little girl. She's scheduled for a c-section on June 7. In so excited!
So a lot is going on right now. I can't promise I'll be back on soon. But hopefully it won't be another year before I'm back. I've got the app on my phone now so maybe that'll stand as my little reminder.
